The Seed
Psalm 127:1 (NIV): "Unless the Lord builds the house its builder labors in vain." The IFGF GISI Houston church was conceived in 1998 when God put the desire into the IFGF Houston Leadership to have our own church building. With our own church building we could reach and bless a larger community around us.
The seed was sown by Mr. Arif Supalal, a former Consul at the Indonesian Consulate General in Houston back in 1996, when his heart was moved to sow the first seed towards the building of the house of The Lord. Quoting from his message, "Let this small gift contribute to the building of the house of the Lord, even if it is just enough to buy few bricks and nails." Thus the Building Fund began.
